Shopify did not allow customization on checkout page, With multi-currency, users can see product price on their currency but during checkout order is placed in the store’s default currency/

If we use plugin for multi-currency (which has their own checkout page) then they lose tracking with google analytics of their eCommerce interactions.

Client needed multi-currency, multi store. Other customizations not possible in as it was hosted solution.



With migration to Magento we resolved all of the above short comings on their platform. We migrated the store from Shopify to Magento.

Resolved issues we ran into with the data migration tool. Ran into a lot of issues with data migration which needed to be resolved.

Created a Multi-site, Multi Currency store, showed US store price different from rest of the world keeping them per the live conversion rate.
