It seems Apple has finally accepted the defeat in terms of market share lost to Samsung Galaxy Note 2 as gamers and professionals bought more than 10 million phablet last year. Now, a report published by Bright-wire relays suggest Apple iPhone 6 is going to break the tradition with a 5-inch Retina Display.
The story claims that both iPhone 5S as well as iPhone 6 could be released in 2013. The report first appeared on the Chinese tech site Laoyaoba.com and claims to have spotted iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 at suppliers. The exciting part of the news is that both models are expected to get unveiled in 2013.
The insider behind the story pointed out that the iPhone 5S is just like the iPhone 5, but it is iPhone 6 that has 5 inch display and is also lighter in weight and thinner and more fit.
There has been numerous speculation, suggesting Apple will roll-out more than one iPhone in 2013. Having said that, Apple CEO has flatly denied the possibility of a bigger iPhone.
However, it will be fascinating to find out how engineers are going to handle five inch Retina Display as adding pixels has its own issues. Currently, iPhone 5 four inch display has 326 ppi density offering 1136×640-pixel resolution.
On the other hand Apple is also planning to unveil a low-cost iPhone for growing markets in Asia, South America and Africa.
