IT Staff Augmentation

Staff augmentation is a type of outsourcing service whereby a software company provides their engineers in the form of external hire, usually on a time and materials contract basis.

It’s a collaboration model in which a corporation augments its in-house IT team by hiring one or more outsourcing IT specialists on a temporary basis. In most cases, augmented specialists join an in-house team and work alongside company personnel for a limited time.

The vendor is concerned about bolstering your team, which entails identifying capable engineers who have previously worked on similar projects and sending their CVs to you. You (or your company’s C-level executives) can interview the experts and, if they are hired, sign a contract.
